The Senate summons Prof Jega to explain election postponement

The Nigerian Senate has summoned INEC chairman today, Prof. Attahiru Jega to appear before it tomorrow, Feb. 18th, to explain the reasons for the postponement of the general elections. They also want him to bring card readers to demonstrate how they would use them during the forthcoming elections.

INEC had on Feb 7th announced the postponement of the general elections citing security challenges.
