Halima Abubakar & Mandy Speak About Marriage, Their Kind Of Men

Actress Halima Abubakar and comedian Mandy spoke with Encomium magazine not too long ago where they explained why they are still single, why being single does not bother them, and the kind of men they would like to spend the rest of their lives with.

Halima speaks;

Does being single bother/worry you?

No. Being in a relationship has to be right, to be real. Anything less than that I am not interested, I just left a relationship and I am not in a hurry. I am happy the way I am.

Why has it been difficult for you to get married?

It is not. Many people say marry me but I don’t really know them. I cannot jump into marriage because every other person is getting married. I want peace of mind. I don’t want a relationship for now.

So, what are the qualities of the man you want to spend the rest of your life with?

A truthful man, that’s all.

Does being single bother/worry you?

I am a Christian. I believe in God’s time. I know He is cooking something good for me.

Why has it been difficult for you to get married?

No, there are many good men out there but there are certain things you may be looking for that the man coming might not possess. I don’t think it is difficult.

So, what are the qualities of the man you want to spend the rest of your life with?

God fearing, irrespective of religion.
