According to a source, before the unfortunate incident, the unidentified policeman pictured above was trying to arrest the driver of the bus because he refused to pay bribe.
In a bid to force the driver to stop, the Oga police performed a Jackie Chan-like stunt and jumped inside the bus.
When the bus driver saw him, he tried to speed off so as to shake him off his steering wheel.
In the process, the driver lost control of the bus and hit a barrier and somersaulted severally.
The condition of the driver is still unknown at the time of this report.

Prudencio Ramirez stands accused of killing his 18 year old girlfriend and her three year old son in Washington State. Family members suspect jealousy may have led to the gruesome slayings of the teen and her son, who were found shot and severely burned in a remote part of Franklin County.
Maria G. Cruiz-Calvillo, and Luis F. Lopez-Cruz were identified on Monday July 6th as the bodies found last week inside a vehicle that was set on fire in a ravine near the intersection of Scootney and Ridge roads. Luis likely was still alive when the car went up in flames, according to Franklin County coroner. Luis would have turned four years old on today Thursday July 9th... Fragos-Ramirez was arrested hours into the investigation at his home less than a mile from where the bodies were found. Prosecutors say Fragos-Ramirez was deported in 2014 and got back into the country illegally. Family members had never met Fragos-Ramirez, though Cruiz-Calvillo talked to her mother about a guy she was seeing, whom she apparently referred to by the nickname "Loco," Rodriguez said. "(The family) thinks she never wanted a serious relationship with him," Rodriguez said. "It's jealousy." Family members last saw Cruiz-Calvillo the afternoon of her death as she was leaving Othello with Luis for Pasco to make a car payment, court documents said. She routinely went to Pasco to make car payments. "We checked with the bank," Rodriguez said. "She made the payment at 3:43 (p.m.)." 2 neighbors saw Cruiz-Calvillo and Luis arrive at Fragos-Ramirez's home about 4:40 p.m., court documents said. The neighbors recognized the mother and son because they frequent the house on Hogback Road. Between 10 and 20 minutes later, the neighbors saw the pair and Fragos-Ramirez walking towards Cruiz-Calvillo's car, court documents said. They didn't see Fragos-Ramirez return to the house and didn't see him again until about 7 p.m. Smoke was spotted coming from the ravine where the bodies were found about 20 to 30 minutes after the trio was seen leaving the home. It took detectives eight minutes to drive from the home to the spot where the bodies were found. Detectives were able to track down Fragos-Ramirez for an interview after Cruiz-Calvillo's brother, Arturo Calvillo, remembered meeting a man who matched the description of Fragos-Ramirez while at a house on church business. Calvillo took Detective Jason Nunez to the house, and Nunez contacted a woman there. The woman told Nunez she had a brother who was at the house when Calvillo came over. She called Fragos-Ramirez and handed the phone to Nunez, who then set up an interview. Fragos-Ramirez told Nunez he last had contact with Cruiz-Calvillo about 2:30 p.m. the day she was killed and had not heard from or seen her since. Nunez arrested Fragos-Ramirez on an outstanding warrant and booked him into jail. After Nunez spoke to the neighbors, he interviewed Fragos-Ramirez again. Fragos-Ramirez claimed Cruiz-Calvillo came to his house about 5:10 p.m. to bring him cigarettes. "He said he last saw (Cruiz-Calvillo) and her son leaving his property in her vehicle," Nunez wrote in a probable cause affidavit. "He said her son was in the back seat in a child seat." Nunez searched Fragos-Ramirez's home and found three clean boxes of .9-mm ammunition stashed in a tire in a dusty shed on the property, court documents said. Fragos-Ramirez admitted to recently having a .9-mm handgun, but claimed he sold it to Cruiz-Calvillo three days before the murders for $300 "because he needed the money for a party he was throwing that day." Fragos-Ramirez claimed his brother, Isabel Fragoza, had seen him sell the gun to Cruiz-Calvillo. Fragoza denied the claim and told Nunez he had seen his brother with a handgun recently, but didn't know what happened to the gun. Authorities booked Fragos-Ramirez for two counts of first-degree murder after determining he was seen with the victims shortly before they were killed and that he was unaccounted for when they died. Prosecutors said in court Monday that Fragos-Ramirez could possibly be charged with aggravated first-degree murder, which carries an automatic sentence of life in prison if convicted. Rodriguez said her family is having trouble understanding how someone could take the life of a child so violently. Source: FNC |

Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu says insurgency has worsened since the inauguration of the present administration. He said Boko haram was already being rolled out of Nigeria before the elections but surprisingly they have increased their attacks and spread to other parts of Nigeria
"I am worried about the insurgence of the Boko Haram activities in Nigeria. Shortly before the inauguration of the present government, the country had almost rolled back Boko Haram and its activities in every part of Nigeria, from Adamawa to Borno to Yobe. I was hoping that when we come back in the 8th Assembly, that I will work with our colleagues from the North-East to develop a plan of action that will help to rehabilitate that part of Nigeria. I feel so concerned about the suffering of our people from the North-East of Nigeria. I had hoped that by now we would be tasking ourselves on how best to rebuild that part of Nigeria. Regrettably the actions of Boko Haram seems to have resurfaced now not only in Borno, they have carried out their activities also in Plateau, they have gone to Adamawa, Kaduna. I am worried that if nothing is done, the next target would be Abuja. Maybe they start going to South. It is important for us as those in government, whether Executive or Legislature, to come together to find solutions to these problems." he told newsmen (Punch) |

I'm totally fed up of people telling me how tall but thin I appear. Yes I'm skinny, and so what???
* Does it means I do not have blood flowing in my veins?
* Does it means I can not become someone great? * Does it means I do not have a future? * Does it means I do not go the same school the masculine went? * Does it means I'm fragile? * Does it means I can't make a good relationship partner?
These are among the 1001 questions running through my mind.
The Nigeria society today hasn't been fair enough to the skinny when it comes to selection of a right person for a particular job. Is it our fault that God created us to look this form or is it our fault that the likes of Xaxtin injections, Epo Eja, wate-on and countless numbers of multivitamins has refused to function in our blood cell?
I recall a scene during the last NIS recruitment day when a commandant held my hand and said to me * I am not sure if you can do this job * I looked into his eyes with so much fierce and that spoke it all, as he left hurriedly. For God sake! Been skinny doesn't mean we do not have power to work or the strength to get involve in some activities the able-bodied are into.
The height of this discrimination is when a lady look into your eyes and tell you * its true that I love your moral, and sense of belonging but, I can not date you cos you're thin* well, one word for you all who say this f**k you b***h you were never meant to be part of my storylines. What good is it when you date a built-bodied and he turns out to using you as punch bags and not Been the faithful type in your relationship?
What use is a built body with an empty brain?
To all my skinny brothers and friends all around the world, we are awesomely made by God and the discrimination of this so called world shouldn't be a distractions to us. To be skinny isn't our choice but God's. If you are thinking less of yourselves cos you're skinny, then I will like to remind of some who are skinny but holds some strong positions in Nigeria today. Ribadu is One, Malam El-rufai is another, even Alhaji Mohammed Buhari our today president is skinny too, and so what??
Be happy and bold for whom God has made you to be.

Somehow, the driver angrily sped off with the Policeman still in the car and mistakenly hit an electric pole, immediately it dragged them up to the ground. Sadly, the driver died instantly while the Policeman's left hand was chopped off. |

Article written by freelance Synagogue Church reporter, Ihechukwu Njoku. Read below...
Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua has launched a scathing attack against the verdict of the coroner's court in Lagos yesterday which ruled the tragic collapse of a building within his church last year was due to structural failure. "The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations rejects the verdict of the coroner on the grounds that it is unreasonable, one-sided and biased," a statement released via their official Facebook page read, attributed to Barr. Olalekan Ojo, lead counsel to The SCOAN. "The church maintains its stand that the incident was as a result of sabotage," the statement continued, further adding that the public should not be misled by media reports casting sensational headlines suggesting the church was liable for prosecution over 'criminal negligence'. The statement highlighted that no evidence was found that The SCOAN hired incompetent professionals or used substandard materials in the construction of the building. "There was no finding that connected the incident with the lack of a building permit," the statement proceeded, adding that the process of procuring the necessary approval was well underway and had been assessed and accepted by relevant government agencies before the incident. "The church disagrees most vehemently with the finding that the incident was due to structural failure," continued the strongly worded statement, insisting the verdict failed to consider substantial evidence which pointed to sabotage and ruled out structural failure. "It was a one-sided verdict which left many issues unaddressed and questions unanswered." The SCOAN highlighted that the verdict failed to even recognise the CCTV footage released by the church which showed "the 6-storey building falling in less than 4 seconds – a manner consistent with controlled or externally induced demolition". It concluded by stating that Chief Magistrate Oyetade Komolafe's admission "that the conduct of the investigation of the incident was compromised... calls into question the integrity and reliability of the entire investigation." Joshua's supporters were vocal in their support of the 'prophet' in the thousands of comments posted beneath the statement, many insisting the verdict was the work of 'the devil'. "If you bury a lie, it will rot. If you bury the truth, it will rise," wrote Opeyemi Oduwole. "We South Africans know what happened to the building; we know the truth. No matter how they lie, the truth will prevail," added Bridget Mkhonto. Joshua followed up on the statement by posting a video on Facebook highlighting the differences between controlled demolition and structural failure with the caption, "No matter how fast a lie runs, the truth will someday overtake it." |

There was an explosion this morning at the Federal High court sitting in Rivers state as Justice Lambo Akanbi nullified the election of 22 local government areas conducted by the Rotimi Amaechi administration on May 23rd. In the said election, APC won all the seats while PDP members boycotted the election after complaining of electoral fraud by members of the APC.
Justice Lambo Akanbi in his ruling stated that the decision of the former governor, Chibuike Amaechi's administration to go ahead with the council election on May 23 inspite of a court order asking all parties to maintain status quo, was a flagrant abuse of court process and disregard for the rule of law. He afterwards nullified the elections of the 22 Local government chairmen. |

Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court in Abuja has granted former Imo state governor, Ikedi Ohakim bail of N270 million in a N270 million fraud case which he is standing trial for. The former governor was arraigned over a N270 million fraud he allegedly committed in 2008 while he was governor.
While delivering his judgement, the judge ordered EFCC officials to seize the former governor's passport and other travel documents and deposit it at the office of the Deputy Chief Registrar of the court until his bail conditions are met. Justice Adeniyi however did not state where the accused will be remanded. Ohakim is standing trial for a three count charge of fraud which includes buying a property in Asokoro, Abuja for $2.29m and concealing the ownership of the property. He allegedly connived with Tweenex Consociates H.D. Ltd. to portray him as a tenant in the property. One of the three count charges against him read, "That you, Ikedi Ohakim, on or about January 26, 2013 in Abuja within the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court, while under arrest for an offence under the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Establishment Act, 2004 knowingly failed to make a full disclosure of your assets by not declaring your ownership of the property known and described as Plot No. 1098 Cadastral Zone A04, Asokoro District- it is also known as No.60, Kwame Nkurumah Street, Asokoro, Abuja and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 27(3)(c) of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Establishment Act, 2004 and punishable under the same section.". |

According to TMZ R. Kelly's brother Bruce Kelly is suing him because he hasn't been paid in over 3 months. Read report below...
"R Kelly worked his brother to the bone -- 144 hours/week according to Bruce Kelly ... who says he never got a dime, so now he's blowing the whistle on the singer with the State of Illinois. Bruce says his younger bro hired him in March as a personal assistant and driver, and they had a verbal agreement -- for $700 a week, Bruce would do food runs and chauffeur R. Kelly. But the brotherly love faded after Bruce started working overtime without seeing any green. According to docs filed with the state labor board, Bruce says he sometimes had to wait up to 12 hours in the car for R. Kelly … and never got any sleep. He tells us he even spoke to R. Kelly about the $11k in back pay he claims he was owed ... but baby bro didn't care. Bruce says he put his foot down after 3 months because he's "not working for nobody, not even his brother, for free." The labor board is still investigating his claim. We reached out to R. Kelly's reps, but no one's gotten back to us.Fun Fact: This isn't the first brother R. Kelly has thrown under the bus. Back in 2008 R Kelly claimed it was his brother Carey, not him, in a video having sex with an underage girl |
