» » Malian Born shopkeeper who saved lives at Paris Surpermartket terror attack receieved a glorious welcome to Mali

The 24 year old Malian-born employee called Lassan Bathily, who saved the lives of several shoppers at Kosher supermarket during the Paris attack that left 4 dead on Jan. 9th was given a heroic welcome in Mali yesterday, 9 years after he left his birth country for France.

Lassana was welcomed by Malian government officials led by the Malian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cheickkna Kamissoko. He and his father later had lunch with the Malian French Ambassador at the french embassy in Mali.
